Voris joined the Ukrainian team last June, signing a one-season deal.
The Latvian goalkeeper in the Ukrainian Super League “Donabass” defended the goal in two matches, in which four discs were conceded on average, repelling 80% of the opponents’ throws, but in the Ukrainian championship he played seven games, conceding on average 1.76 goals and repelling 91.2%. In the IIHF Champions League, he scored in the Donbass goal in two matches, scoring an average of 2.14 goals and repelling 82.4%.
Voris played for the Danish club Redovres “Mighty Bulls” in the first half of last season, scoring an average of 4.3 goals in 11 matches and repelling 89.85% of the throw. Continuing the season, he returned to the Continental Hockey League (KHL) unit in Riga’s “Dinamo”, passing an average of 3.55 puck in 11 games and repelling 86.5% of the throws.
The Latvian goalkeeper spent most of the 2019/2020 season in the Russian Youth League (MHL) team “Riga”, but he also had the opportunity to make his debut in Riga “Dinamo”. Voris took the field in seven KHL games, with an average of 3.22 goals, 89.3% rebounds and one dry win.
Prior to that, he spent one season in the lowest hockey leagues in North America, where he represented three teams.
Voris has played in the U-18 and U-20 national teams at the World Youth Championships.
