The Administrative Council initiates a project for a regional sports center on the site of Bois-des-Frères, in Vernier.

The City of Geneva plans to complete the Bois-des-Frères sports center (located in Vernier and which it manages) with a building dedicated to judo and table tennis. The Administrative Council announced on Wednesday that it was going to submit a credit of 14 million to the City Council for this purpose. The authorities imagine the new complex as a regional hub, of which it should host all the training and internships. National competitions will also be held there. The ambition also exists to organize tournaments and international events there.
