Djokovic buys 80% of a Danish biotech developing a treatment against COVID-19

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) – Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has bought 80% of Danish biotech QuantBioRes, which is focused on developing a treatment for COVID-19, the company’s chief executive told Reuters on Wednesday.

This announcement comes as the world number one, who refuses to be vaccinated, was excluded from the first Grand Slam tournament of the year, the Australian Open, and expelled from the country after having his visa canceled.
