Brest: the car thief confused by his fingerprints and his DNA four months after the facts

Monday, January 17, 2022, around 6 a.m., policemen of the public road service, have arrested a individual. The latter was wanted because he was suspected of being the author of the vehicle theft committed on the night of September 6 to 7, 2021, in rue Jean-Jaurès in Brest, and found the next day, September 8, rue Lesage.

Statements offingerprints and D’ADN had been made in the vehicle, making it possible to identify the presumed perpetrator. The latter, without a fixed address (his address is established at the CCAS, communal center for social action), could not be located until Monday 17. That is more than four months after the facts!
