16 players and four coaches at Karlsruher SC tested positive for the corona virus in PCR tests!
As the second division announced on Thursday evening, the club therefore wants to have the game against SV Sandhausen scheduled for Sunday postponed. An application should be made to the DFL on Friday.
Four other people from the functional team were also affected, the KSC explained.
The statement pointed out that the vaccination rate was 100 percent and that everyone involved with symptoms was doing well under the circumstances.
As a precaution, a PCR test will be carried out again on Friday for all people who have tested negative so far.
The KSC had already announced on Wednesday that it had to suspend training. A day earlier they had defeated 1860 Munich in the cup (1-0), thus reaching the quarter-finals.
