Met via Instagram this youngest who knows nothing about golf helps her new boyfriend win on the Korn Ferry Tour – Korn Ferry Tour

At 19, Akshay Bhatia won his first tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour this week. He was caddyed by his friend who knew absolutely nothing about golf!

The American second division kicked off its 2022 season this week in the Bahamas. It’s the young American, Akshay Bhatia, who won the bet with two strokes ahead of the competition thanks in particular to a superb last round in 65 (-7) with three birdies on the last four holes. We have no doubt, his shot at 18 (see below) will remain as one of the best of the season.

At 19 years, 11 months and 19 days, he became the third youngest player in history to win a tournament on the PGA Tour antechamber, behind Jason Day (19 years, 7 months and 26 days in 2007) and Sunjae Im (19 years, 9 months and 17 days in 2018). The young player has already appeared 18 times on the PGA Tour and even made the cut at the US Open last season.

From an Instagram post to victory in the Bahamas

If the talent of the young man attracted attention, his younger brother did not remain incognito. It is Presleigh Schultz who had the heavy responsibility of assisting the player this week. This name surely means nothing to you: the pretty young woman, influencer, nevertheless has 76,000 subscribers on TikTok and around 16,000 on Instagram.

Simply Presleigh Schultz knows absolutely nothing about golf.

A situation that did not disturb Akshay Bhatia, who seems determined to achieve his goals as evidenced by his decision to move 2 years ago to just 17 years old.

For the record, the golfer sent a message to the young lady’s Instagram account last April on the sidelines of the Valero Texas Open. A romance was born between the two lovebirds and ended in a great victory under the sun of the Bahamas. The duo will try to repeat the feat this Sunday with the second event of the season.
