Claude Poncet died on January 16, at the age of 84.
Born in Grandfontaine in 1937, Claude Poncet will always remain very attached to his village where he has always resided.
From his marriage to Nicole are born Nathalie, Agnès and Xavier and from a second union Sophie. He will have the happiness of knowing five grandchildren. The good family understanding fills him.
Claude pursued a career at Sacer, where he was a mechanic on large machinery. He loves his job, he loves mechanics and motorcycles. He was passionate about motor sports, sport, pétanque and nature, but above all archery, where he won the title of Franche-Comté champion. He’s a competitor. Precision is one of its qualities. He was also recognized as the best sniper during his time in the army.
Intelligent, quick-witted, smiling, endowed with a pleasant sense of humor, he leaves a great void in his family and will be greatly missed at the Quingey nursing home where he has been living for some time.
The civil ceremony will take place this Saturday, January 22 at 9:15 a.m. at the Avanne-Aveney funeral home.
Our condolences.
