Baumgart on BILD demand: “The decision has been made and I’ve already spoken to Timo about it. He was out for another two weeks, is not in training and Marvin is performing very well.”
Brutally hard for Horn, who has just recovered from a corona infection. For ten years he was the undisputed regular goalkeeper and made 327 professional appearances for FC.
Baumgart: “It’s normal for him to be disappointed. He will be used in friendlies and knows the road is long. But he accepts the situation and sees it as a challenge.”
Or will Horn (contract until 2023) take his consequences in the summer and leave?
Baumgart: “Timo will work his way up again and then we’ll see how close he is to it.”
