Ledecká was sixth in both downhill training runs. Italian star Sofia Goggia set the fastest time every time. The representative will issue the number 17 on the track.
Ledecká, who will defend a sensational Olympic victory in the super-giant slalom and also gold on a snowboard in Beijing in February, has so far been eighth in the downhill this season. She entered the top ten for the first time a week ago in Zauchensee, Austria.
The eighth place from 2019 is also her best result in Cortina in the World Cup, last year at the World Championships she was fourth on both slopes in both special stages.
