Returning empty-handed from the Tokyo Olympics last summer, French skaters shone at the Larnaca Grand Prix (Cyprus) on Friday. Among the men, Emmanuel Petit (49) and Rémi Cloitre (23) won silver and bronze, a first for the young man from Marseille. Fifth in Tokyo, where he came for the gold, Éric Delaunay saw his career come to an end in the semi-finals (5th).
Among the ladies, Noémie Battault (24) climbed on the podium for the first time in her career by winning the bronze.
