James overtakes Curry at the Western Conference in an NBA All-Star fan vote

Los Angeles Lakers have overtaken Golden State Warriors at the Curry West Conference, and Durent of Brooklyn’s Nets is leading the vote at the Eastern Conference.

In the competition for the defenders, Curry is followed by Jorge Morant (Grizzlies) of Memphis with 6,019,418 votes and 2,693,359 members of the team of Kristaps Porziņģis in the ranks of the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Dončičs from Slovenia, who has 1,923,187 votes.

In the ranking of the long players at the Eastern Conference, Durent is followed by Jannis Adetokunbo (Milwaukee “Bucks”) with 5,124,925 votes and Joel Embid (“76ad” Philadelphia) with 3,305,229 votes.

In the rankings of the defenders, Derouzan, who garnered 4,121,034 votes, is followed by the Hawks of Atlanta with 2,147,111 votes and Zekus the Bulls with 1,988,452 votes.

Latvian basketball players have not been elected to the top ten.
The vote for the top five of the Western and Eastern Conferences will end at midnight on January 22 at East Coast time or on January 23 at 7 am Latvian time.

During voting, fans can vote once a day through the NBA app, as well as on the league’s NBA.com website. You can also vote every day on the social network “Twitter” by tweeting or retrieving the theme with the basketball player’s name and username or by marking his or her username.

In five days – on December 25, January 7, 13, 17 and January 20 – the votes cast are twice as valuable.

Like the fans, NBA players and the media will take part in the selection of the starting five. For the sixth season in a row, the fan vote gives 50% of the result, while the currently active players and the mass media will give 25%.

The starting five will be announced on January 27, but a week later there will be an opportunity to get acquainted with the NBA All-Star Game Reserves, who will be selected by the coaches.
