Very tight and balanced. The game between Milwaukee (29-19) and Chicago (28-16) was intense and played with that attention and focus that tends to raise the technical level. They won the Bucks in the final corner and sealed the win with a 2/2 on Khris Middleton’s free throws. To steal the show, the majesty of Antetokounmpo (30 points and 12 rebounds) on one side and a stunning DeRozan (35 points) on the other. Milwaukee knows how to win games like this. Chicago showed a great mentality and seemed to grow defensively from the last few runs. The Bulls didn’t have an easy time with significant absentees, but the solidity of Billy Donovan’s team, who deservedly lead the Eastern Conference, prevailed. A game unaffected by the three percent (both teams shot very badly, 19.4% for the Bucks and 18.4% for the Bulls) and showed intoxicating competitive spirit. Shame for Grayson Allen’s foul on Alex Caruso in the 3rd period, which caused the Milwaukee player to be kicked out and some moments of concern around the building.
