The Sports Union for Primary Education (USEP 47) and the Directorate of Departmental Services for National Education (DSDEN 47) coordinate the organization of the 6th Olympic and Paralympic Week (#SOP), from 24 to 31 January 2022.
Olympic and Paralympic Week 2022 will this year allow 40 classes (including 3 specialized establishments and around 1,000 students) from Lot-et-Garonne public schools to practice the following sports: ultimate-frisbee, archery, curling, handball, basketball, fencing, climbing with the help of CDOS 47, EPS educational advisers, UFOLEP committees, CD Sport Adapté47, basketball, archery and the fencing clubs of Agen, handball of Marmande and the Boé Archers as well as the USEP47.
Constrained by current health conditions, limiting gatherings, raising student awareness of sports practices will go through interventions in schools (or in rooms near these schools). Partners and clubs will reinforce teachers’ action.
This event was also built with the help of the Departmental Council of Lot-et-Garonne, the sports department of the cities of Agen, Marmande and Tonneins and other communities which were able to make their infrastructures available for the occasion.
Let’s not forget the other partners not mentioned who have joined us to prepare this week since September and who, by the cancellation of the meeting days, are prevented from participating but remain mobilized.
