‘Chito’ Vera congratulated Michael Morales on his debut and victory

Marlon Vera congratulated his Ecuadorian compatriot Michael Morales, who won at UFC 270 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, United States.

Morales won the American by technical knockout Trevin Giles, the night of January 22, 2022.

Vera, who is eighth in the ranking of the bantamweight category, congratulated Morales with a message on his Twitter account: “Arrecho Michael”. ‘Chito’ was at the event as a spectator.

On her Instagram account, Vera published stories with a video of Morales going up to the octagon and another with the repetition of the definition of the fight that was observed on the electric scoreboard of the Honda Center.

The 22-year-old fighter got his thirteenth victory without knowing defeat. He has been training in Mexico for a year.

The beginning of the first round was favorable for the American. Morales remained calm and managed to get out of danger. With the first round shortly to end, Morales connected with strong fist blows to his rival until the referee stopped the fight.

“Thank you very much to all the people present,” said the Ecuadorian at the end of the fight. Then, he thanked Ecuador, Mexico and his mother in Machala. “Expect more victories for Ecuador and Mexico, so let’s go up Latinos,” he added after his victory.

Morales began practicing judo since childhood, with the guidance of his parents who practice this discipline. He is a specialist in wrestling, judo, Thai boxing and other combat disciplines.

The Orense has shared in his Instagram stories several messages from people who tagged him after the victory. He also added videos of the fight.

Vera usually gives her opinion on her Twitter account about what happens in UFC fights, especially when Latinos fight. The Ecuadorian had an autograph signing schedule on Friday and there was a long line of people waiting to get “Chito’s” signature.

In addition, he tweeted “Moreno the real winner”, due to the victory of the Brazilian, Deiveson Figueiredo over the Mexican, Brandon Moreno by decision, in the fight for the title of the flyweight category.
