The Consultation Committee has today approved the corona barometer and that is a good thing for sports competitions. Although the corona barometer will immediately start in code red next Friday, the public will still be allowed to attend football matches from that date.
Even in code red, the measures will be more lenient than today. For example, the Pro League assumes that the football stadiums may be 70 percent full. A Covid Safe Ticket and mouth mask remain mandatory.
Anderlecht’s next home game, on Wednesday January 26 against Cercle Brugge, is still without an audience. This is followed by two away matches, against Union in the league and against Eupen in the Cup. On Sunday 6 February, in the league match against Eupen, the Anderlecht supporter will again be allowed to go to the Lotto Park.
