Plavšič is great, Trpišovský praises himself after the training camp. Now he looks out for a narrowing of the staff

Coach Jindřich Trpišovský considers the ending training camp in Portugal to be the best he has ever completed with the Slavia footballers.

According to him, the Serbian extreme player Srdjan Plavšič, who could be an alternative on the left side of the defense, is showing himself in excellent form. Trpišovský assumes that after returning to the Czech Republic there will still be movement in the squad and some younger players will leave.

“Absolute satisfaction with everything. I have to say that it was the best training we were at. No injuries, great work from all the players and people who were here. We did a lot of work, I don’t remember when we had such conditions. , “Trpišovský told the club website.

“I think it was worthwhile for us to go to one long training camp, because we saved trips between training camps. Thanks to that, we had more time for match videos. I would be hard pressed to find a loophole in this stay,” he added.

Due to the coronavirus situation, the Slavists did not enter any preparatory match at the concentration camp, as the agreed rivals canceled the duels. Instead, the people of Prague played three training matches with each other. Unusually, the wing midfielder Plavšič introduced himself on the left edge of the defense.

“He’s great at the moment, he’s very productive. He may have been the best player in those matches. On the other hand, the players know each other a little bit. Today’s match was up and down, a little different than sharp matches. Then it’s definitely a good first step. “We are glad that there is such a variant in the emergency we have in that post. I think he was one of the three best players in this camp,” said Trpišovský.

After returning from the training camp, the Czech champion and leader of the league table plans to narrow down the staff. “Now we have two days off and there will definitely be some movement. We said some names that we would release, because we hope that in about a month (healing) Lukáš Provod, David Hovorka and Ondra Kúdela will join us. Now it’s mainly about those younger players for whom we do not want to close the way to clubs that have shown interest in them, for example in the league, “the coach noted.

“These are the players who played half a year in Vlašim, now they have completed the camp and they have seen the demands of what load the players from the national teams can handle, where they need to improve. “The league starts in two weeks. There is a list of some names that will probably leave us. These will be the next negotiations in the next three days,” Trpišovský added.

According to him, further strengthening is not on the agenda yet. In addition to Sora, Slavia has hired defender Maksym Talovjerov and midfielder Filip Blech in the winter break. The people of Prague also bought midfielder Marek Icha, but he will spend the spring visiting in Vlašim.

“If the player leaves the staff, we might consider coming. But Lukáš Provod is close to returning. We would like him to join the team in mid-February, mid-March to join the matches. We have various quarantines in our heads. and covid, so in the beginning the staff will be wider. But now there is nothing current about departures or arrivals, “added Trpišovský.
