OSSUN II : 38 baskets including 6 three-pointers, 7 free throws out of 11, 21 personal fouls, 1 player eliminated: Bernes (34th).

Dots : Marin (14), Guillaumot (11), David (10), Pescadere (16), Hartmann (18), then Beau (3), Capdevielle (7), Henrion (6), Couribaut (2), Bernes (2) . Coach: Loic Bordes.

For this first game of the second phase, we were among acquaintances, since the two teams were in the same initial pool. And if in the first leg Ossun at home had emerged largely victorious from a very offensive meeting (99-60), the return to the Gers had been tighter (57-64). In less than six minutes, Bordes’ troops had gone far ahead (20-5), with detonators named David and Guillaumot. But three minutes later, the band at Despax had returned to the local calves (22-19, 9th) with a combative Bergia and Decker’s counter-attacks. In the 13th, Jegun was still in the running (32-25)…but the end of the quarter was tough for them, with a 25-3 that left no room for doubt (57-28, 20th).

Admittedly, the visitors played on an equal footing in the third and when Captain Hartmann regained some service in the fourth, when opposite Gousseff and Ducos also got involved, the game gained in intensity. The BCO made the pass of three.
