The resident of Alaquàs, Carmen Benavent, has achieved this weekend the title of Autonomous Archery Champion in the traditional or instinctive modality of the senior category. With this result, it is also positioned as second in the regional league and will represent the Valencian Community in the national championship that will be held next Sunday, January 30, at the Marina d’Or facilities (Oropesa del Mar-Castelló).
Carmen Benavent has been practicing this sport since 2007 and is part of the Arc València club www.arcvalencia.com. In 2008, she won the title of runner-up in Spain in the barebow modality and since then she has not stopped practicing and improving in this sport that she is passionate about.
