Last Sunday, January 24, a group of students from the School of Basketball Youth they moved up to Sevilla to watch the ACB League match between Coosur Real Betis and Surne Bilbao Basket live.
Three groups from the school led by Reduan Fadel were the ones who were able to enjoy the event, such as the mixed mini-basketball team, the women’s sub-17 team and the men’s sub-17 team, accompanied by coaches Ismael, Samir and Alberto, in charge of the expedition, President Reduan Fadel himself and Vice President Abdelah Ayad.
It is the first activity carried out by this school since the confinement in the past 2020 and from the school it is expected to carry out a monthly event, both recreational and sports.
From the Youth Basketball School they want to thank the invitation received by the Coosur Betis Basketball and the treatment received by the expedition at all times.
The Youth Basketball School currently works with a total of one hundred and eighty students divided into a prebaby group, two from the ‘baby’ category, two from premini, another two from minibasket, two from the children’s category and two sub-17 or junior one male and one female.
The trainings are carried out on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the facilities of the Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria ‘7 Hills’ at times between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. depending on the category.
The school continues to clearly train both players, which is the main objective for which it was created, as well as to train coaches and monitors to direct the different categories with 10 technicians and 4 assistants.
After this first recreational-sports activity in Seville, the Youth Basketball School works to achieve more activities always with the current health crisis ahead with the Covid protocol, something that does not allow them to close in advance.
