Victim of a violent attack at the beginning of November, Kheira Hamraoui started, this Sunday, in the composition of Didier Ollé-Nicolle for the victorious trip to Saint-Etienne (0-5), in D1 Arkema. For her first few minutes, almost three months after her last appearance, the 32-year-old occupied midfield with teammate Aminata Diallo.
The latter, present at the time of the incident, on November 4, had already returned to the field two weeks ago, during a trip to Dijon, in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France (0-0 , 4-5 on tabs). Placed in police custody following the incident, she was notably suspected of having played a role in the attack before being released without any charges being brought against her.
Following this event, the two players had been excluded from the Parisian group for several weeks. As a sign of fate, Kheira Hamraoui and Aminata Diallo reached the milestone of 100 games together with the capital club this Sunday.
Katoto’s hat-trick
Marie-Antoinette Katoto, the French international striker, scored a hat-trick. She first played with the Saint-Etienne defense to perfectly adjust the Saint-Etienne goalkeeper with the right foot (10th). It was then with her left foot, still in the penalty area, at the end of the race that she again deceived Maryne Gignoux-Soulier (64th) before adding a third achievement with a header from a corner (68th).
The other two goals of the match were scored by her tricolor teammate Kadidiatou Diani, after a scramble in the penalty area (45th + 2), and the Polish Paulina Dudek with a header from a corner from Sandy Baltimore (58th). This great success allows the Parisiennes, second, to come back to three points behind the leader, Lyon. “We had a great match. I think that in content, defensively and offensively, we played well, ”welcomed the Canadian midfielder of PSG Ashley Lawrence, at the end of the meeting, at the microphone of Canal +.
His club was in any case reassured a week before a shock against Olympique Lyonnais, in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. It will take place next Saturday, at Camp des Loges, at 2 p.m.
