BG Göttingen: Even in the home game against Heidelberg no more than 500 spectators

Like the BBL home game of BG Göttingen against Braunschweig, the next duel of the violets in the Sparkassen-Arena is also affected by the so-called winter rest decided by the state of Lower Saxony. As the Bundesliga basketball club announced on Tuesday, the capacity for the game against the MLP Academics Heidelberg on Saturday, January 29, at 6 p.m. in the Sparkassen-Arena is again 500.

The 2G-plus rule also applies in the S-Arena: Only vaccinated and recovered people who also have a negative corona test (certified rapid antigen test, not older than 24 hours, or negative PCR test, not older than 48 hours). People who have already received a third (booster) vaccination do not need a test certificate. FFP2 masks are compulsory throughout the Sparkassen-Arena.

Meanwhile, the BBL has postponed the game of BG Göttingen at the MHP giants Ludwigsburg by one day. The duel will now take place on Wednesday, February 16, at 8:30 p.m. in the MHPArena. The reason for the transfer is the top four for the BBL Cup on 19./20. February. The finals’ league matches are scheduled to be played on Tuesday, giving the teams involved more time to prepare for the cup tournament. The games of the other clubs will therefore take place on Wednesday.
