Rossoneri Update: Pioli Says About Tomori’s Condition Ahead Of The Milan Derbi, Ibra Injury & This New Player

TRIBUN-BALI.COM, ITALY – The Rossoneri’s latest update, Inter Milan wins Supercup”>AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli confirms that Fikayo Tomori will not be available ahead of the derby against Inter Milan and his comments on the possible arrival of a new player at the San Siro.

AC Milan failed to win at home after being held to a draw by Juventus with the score 0-0 in the Italian League Serie A competition, Monday 24 January 2022 early this morning.

The final result of the duel between AC Milan and Juventus both shared one point, although the Rossoneri controlled the game but no goals were created.

Quoted by Tribun Bali from SemreMilan (via MilanNews), Pioli, who spoke to fellow reporters, revealed the draw that AC Milan had against Juventus.

Pioli also admitted that he was disappointed with a number of opportunities that AC Milan had but failed to convert into goals.

“We didn’t score, we created a lot of chances but we missed the last pass, the control, the shots, also because the pitch doesn’t allow you to play well,” he said.

The bald-headed coach also highlighted the statistics of shots directed by AC Milan players in two matches that ended in minor results.

Namely the defeat against Spezia and failed to win against Juventus.

“In the last two games we’ve shot at goal more than 40 times, then games happen where you’re not so clear. My strikers will be scoring goals again soon,” Pioli said.

Meanwhile, responding to the injury suffered by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pioli did not deny that the cause of the recurrence of his Achilles tendon was caused by the grass of the San Siro pitch which was no longer suitable for holding matches.
