The Italian judo national team is ready to return to the competition. The Azzurri will return to the mat from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 January in Almada, which for the first time hosts the Grand Prix (the first time ever for Portugal). An event with free participation, to which nine athletes who have the required eligibility requirements responded. Angelo Pantano, Biagio D’Angelo (60), Alessandro Magnani, Luigi Centracchio (73), Lorenzo Parodi (81), Christian Parlati (90), Asia Advanced (48), Miriam Boi (57) and Alice Bellandi (78) will have therefore the possibility of conquering important points for the world class rankings.
“It is a very important fact for everyone that the participation of these athletes takes place thanks to the effort of their respective clubs – observes the dtn Laura Di Toma –; because it is above all in difficulties that there is a need for collaboration and a shared vision“. The athletes will be accompanied, in addition to the Covid Manager Alessandro Comi, by the technicians Enrico Parlati, Salvatore Ferro, Antonio Ciano. “The kids are doing pretty well and despite the problems of the beginning of the year, Covid and some minor injuries, we managed to get here”Declares Ciano.
