A viral TikTok video, related to Manchester United. In the video, Ralf Rangnick confirms Jesse Lingard will leave at the end of the season.
Reported by The Sun, the TikTok video shows a MU fan trying to interview Rangnick. The manager was busy signing autographs to other fans.
On that occasion, the fan apparently kept talking to Rangnick. He hoped Lingard would be kept.
“Ralf, defend Lingard. I beg you. He’s my favorite player,” he said.
Ralf Rangnick then responded, and replied curtly. He mentioned that Jesse Lingard will leave Manchester United next summer.
“He’s leaving in the summer,” he said.
The video went viral on social media. Many can guarantee Rangnick’s words are serious.
Lingard’s future at United is again unclear. The player who was loaned to West Ham United was unable to compete in the Red Devils’ core squad.
Lingard’s contract expires at the end of the season. Management didn’t give him a new deal.
Only having 6 months of work at Manchester United, Lingard has the opportunity to withdraw on a free transfer next summer. However, MU can also get a little money from his sale, if he releases him in January. The winter transfer window itself will close on January 31, 2022.
