Académie les Aigles aims to launch a brand new after-school program in baseball. This annual program will allow 30 players from various high schools in the region to perfect their physical and mental skills in a professional environment adapted to their needs.
The objectives of the program will be to develop healthy lifestyle habits, as well as their autonomy in order to help them integrate the labor market with more ease.
“We are really confident that we will obtain the financial assistance needed to make our project a success. We had eight young athletes from the region who took part in the pilot project which allowed them to be able to train physically and play baseball after school. Basically, young people finish school and come to our premises. We obtained very positive results, both in terms of improving their sports skills, their sense of responsibility, and their school grades,” says Pascal Boislard, president of L’Académie les Aigles.
“It is for this reason that we want to offer the chance to a greater number of young athletes to be able to participate in our program. The program will target the U15 to U17. We invite our merchants to get involved as well, including those in the city center. Our premises are in the city center so it could make them work at the same time. »
The Academy has therefore created a crowdfunding campaign for its program, which will focus on pleasure and the development of physical and mental skills among young athletes. The goal to reach is $50,000 by February 15. If necessary, the Thousand and One Youth Fund would double the amount for a total of $100,000.
“The public is invited to help us achieve our goal by purchasing one of our many rewards. Among these, in addition to clothing and accessories from the Academy, as well as our gift cards, it is possible to support a cause such as the JIMD program which allows children from underprivileged backgrounds to be able to play baseball this summer. “, he adds.
Académie les Aigles is also looking for business partners who share their values and who can help them put them forward. The values of the program are respect for others, motivation, surpassing oneself, the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits, as well as professionalism.
