Union of Basque Federations
The councilor Bingen Zupiria, its director of Sports, Jon Redondo, the president of the Union of Basque Sports Federations, Angel Gurrutxaga, and the Councilor for Sports of Donostia, Martin Ibabe, yesterday visited the new headquarters of the Basque Federations in the stadium of Write down. A total of seventeen federations work in the 1,300-square-meter space owned by the municipality of San Sebastián: underwater activities, chess, motor racing, badminton, handball, baseball and softball, hunting, cycling, judo, mountain, motorcycling, fishing and casting, canoeing , rowing, rugby, triathlon and sailing. A large part of the Basque sports federations based in Gipuzkoa will be located in the new headquarters.
