A total of 21 participants from all over Europe competed in his age and new weight class U15 up to 50 kilograms. After a bye in the first round, the young judoka was able to win his fights against three Swiss with ippon (immediate end of the fight).
Unfortunately, he then lost the final after three shidos (penalties) in the golden score (overtime) against Arthur Moser from Switzerland.
After podium finishes in Israel, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France and the Netherlands, Switzerland was the seventh country where the Willicher was able to make his mark.
As part of his “European Tour”, the judoka will start in Lithuania in April.
