Montpellier was drawn: Zverev, maximum favorite

The end of the ocean tour begins to make way for tournaments organized around the world. In this case, the Montpellier ATP 250 raffled the main draw. The main attraction will be concentrated on the first candidates: Alexander Zverev (3rd in the world), Roberto Bautista Agut (18°), Gael Monfils (20°) and Nikoloz Basilashvili (23°).

The tournament that had its inaugural edition back in 2010, returns with a list full of attractive matches. Adrian Mannarino and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina will clash in the first round. Both come from scoring good performances in the first Grand Slam of the year and will meet in Montpellier for the first time on the circuit. Whoever wins will have to cross paths with the winner of the match between David Goffin, guest of the event, and the local Benjamin Bonzi.

Another of the initial matches that promise due to the quality and temperament of the competitors will be starring Corentin Moutet and Mikael Ymer. The faces will also be seen in the first round: Mackenzie McDonald and Ilya Ivashka, Hugo Gaston and Soon-Woo Kwon, the French generational clash in the hands of Richard Gasquet and Ugo Humbert, Filip Krajinovic and Alexei Popyrin, as well as Alexander Bublik and Tallon Griekspoor.

Those who are still waiting for rivals from the classification are: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Alex Molcan y Lucas Pouille while the top favorites, Zverev, Bautista Agut, Monfils and Basilashvili await in the second round of the tournament.
