Ferrocarril del Estado thrashed General Saavedra 5-2 in Category B of Comodorense soccer, the result was much celebrated because it leaves him with serious aspirations in the standings. The goals were scored by Jorge Gaitán twice, Thiago Quiroga, and Nicolás Soto twice. The discounts in the visiting cast were obtained by Matías Medrano and Alan Figueroa.
Ferro takes hold, he likes it, and he plays better and better. Yesterday, in just 25 minutes, he already had the game defined in his favor, it was even a good price for those from “Parque” to sign.
From the beginning, at 10′, Jorge Gaitán, with a scoring nose, went for a header from a free kick executed by Fernando Llanquetrú. The ball fell crosswise in the area, from the right and at the far post Gaitán did not forgive. Two minutes later, “Coco” Gaitán again ran a long ball and won it, overcame a defender and faced the goalkeeper, but this time the ball went in from a corner for Ferro’s second conquest.
Minutes later Flores and Bellido made a nice combination for Saavedra, and they missed a clear opportunity against goalkeeper Tomás Vera. Then, at 23′, Saavedra could discount, when about 26 meters from the goal, Matías Medrano tried with a shot, and put the ball in the left corner, in a true goal.
But again Thiago Quiroga at 25′ made sure that Ferro’s people returned to celebrate and shout, when he eluded two defenders and surpassed the goalkeeper, in a low-flying ball.
And minutes later, after the refreshment that the players gave each other, at 36 ‘Ferro again shouted another goal, after the right hand shot from mid-height by the accurate Nicolás Soto, before going into the break.
When the second half started, everyone knew that the game had already been defined in the first half, because Saavedra did not have too many ideas to hurt Ferro in the area, who was a Locomotive in the first minutes and surpassed him in all sectors.
In any case, Saavedra put more claw and heart but it was not enough, his rival was very solid, with spare parts that worked perfectly for him and with an increasingly poised team. Ferro was able to achieve another conquest, Nicolás Soto on a good foot, scored a great goal after a free kick, hit it from the top of the area and nailed it at an angle.
Saavedra managed to discount thanks to the substitution and good punch of Alan Figueroa in the left sector, where about 20 meters from the goal he also scored a nice goal at mid-height and at the far post.
From time to time the wind and the earth appeared, making us think how beautiful the field full of grass would look. Later, some fans asked how Portugués was doing in his match with Laprida. The answer was: -Win and not fall!. Ferro also wins, likes and goes for more.
