Two Kortrijk executives display their ambitions: “It’s our dream to play Europe together”

A fine poster awaits Kortrijk tonight against Bruges.

Tonight, Kerels, undefeated for six straight games, challenge Club Brugge. A real test for Karim Belhocine and his troops.

Kortrijk have conceded just 26 goals this season and have the third-best defense in JPL behind Union and La Gantoise, a performance KVK owe in part to Marko Ilic and Aleksandar Radovanovic.

The Serbs also have a lot of ambitions with the club, even if given their solid performances, it is not sure that they will still be Kortrijk next season: “I am not thinking about that at the moment. I am focus on the present. It’s our dream to play together on the European stage. Ideally, the Champions League, but it won’t be for next year (laughs). The Conference League is more realistic and still possible.” Ilic told Het Laatste Nieuws.

“Right now we’re aiming for the POs, that’s our target. Yesterday we were still discussing that we need at least 15 more points to qualify,” added Radovanovic.

In three days, Kortrijk will challenge Antwerp after this Brugge match.
