The IES La Orden Badminton Club enjoyed this weekend a day of macroliga. The first team, from the Division of Honor, and the two from the academy, Recreativo IES La Orden B and Colombino La Orden, flooded the Palacio de Deportes Caroline Marin.
The Recreativo IES La Orden reaped its first defeat (3-4) against Benalmadena. The team led by Paco Ojeda won the women’s doubles matches, played by Haideeé Ojeda and Laura Santos, and two singles matches, played by Telma Santos and Pablo Abián.
On the other hand, the Palacio de Deportes also hosted the first leg of the semifinal of Andalusian League. Granada B visited the Huelva city but could not win, as Recreativo IES La Orden B beat their rival, winning the match 5-2. The categories that the albiazules conquered were the mixed doubles, women’s doubles, men’s doubles, women’s individual 2 and men’s individual 1.
Besides, the First National started in Huelva. The 14 teams that dispute it gathered in the city of Huelva for the competition, which takes place in concentrations. The Colombino La Orden had a positive experience of the day, although without winning. The albiazul volantistas were 0-7 against the University of Valladolid; 2-5 against As Neves; and 1-6 against Athlos (Galicia).
In this way, the academy of the badminton club from Huelva continues in increase and continues in his training process, adding positive experiences that enrich his perseverance and discipline in this sport.
