In the early hours of yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 2 February, the agents of the Police Station of Stao di Gallipoli – directed by Vicequestore Monica Sammati – employed in a service aimed at the repression of crimes in general with particular attention to the sale of drugs, they denounced ZF, a 36-year-old offender from the province of Bari, for carrying and abusive possession of weapons and objects capable of offending.
The facts
The policemen, having learned the news from previous checks of the man’s arrival, a few days ago in the “Beautiful City”, given his precedents for detention and drug dealing, having reason to believe that he could continue the illicit activity also in the Ionian city, have decided to carry out a personal and home search.
During the checks, the 36-year-old is found in possession of various objects capable of offending, including sidearms; in particular a knife 38 cm long collector’s item, one mace with chained two spiked spheres with a diameter of 10 cm, one baseball bat and a nunchaki (tool used in combat in martial arts).
By virtue of what was found, of his numerous precedents and in consideration of what the man himself asserted, that is, that he arrived by train a few days ago in Gallipoli, taking all the objects in question with him, he was reported to the Judicial Authority for carrying and illegal possession of weapons or objects capable of offending.
