A previously unknown man used force to snatch his shoulder bag from a 16-year-old youth in the area of the pedestrian path that leads along the freight train line from Freiburg-Haslach to Bissierstraße, at the height of a staircase to Ferdinand-Weiss-Straße. After the youth was initially able to defend himself and flee to Bissierstrasse, two passers-by came to his aid, who spoke to the unknown man who was chasing the boy and accompanied the boy a little.
Shortly before reaching his home address, the 16-year-old noticed the perpetrator again and fled to a tram that happened to be waiting.
The unknown perpetrator is described as follows:
– about 185 cm tall
– about 30-35 years old
– Southern European appearance
– spoke broken German
and was wearing dark jeans, a black jacket, dark shoes and a dark baseball hat.
The Freiburg Criminal Police Department (Tel.: 0761-882-2880) has started the investigation and is looking for witnesses who can give information about the facts or the person they are looking for.
