Standard will have to do without Gilles Dewaele for four to six weeks, the Liège club confirmed on Friday.
The right-back was injured in training last Wednesday. The examinations revealed “a myo-aponeurotic lesion of the right adductor medius,” explained the Standard.
Dewaele, 25, has played in all four games for Standard since joining the club from Kortrijk in January.
