Radicals from both teams clashed in the streets of the Galician city before the League match played in Balaídos
Ultra fans of Celta and Rayo Vallecano staged a pitched battle this Saturday in Vigo, before the League match between both teams in Balaídos. Members of Bukaneros, a radical group from Rayo, confronted a group of Celtarras in the streets surrounding the Balaídos stadium.
The massive fight resulted in several injuries, initially none seriously, and the Police identified several violent. Dozens of people participated in the confrontation and even a fan, unconscious on the ground, was kicked in the head.
The incidents occurred at 5:30 p.m., one hour before the start of the meeting. In several videos posted on social networks races and confrontations are observed, among the sound of breaking glass. Those involved threw beer bottles at each other and hit each other with flag poles, as well as punching and kicking.
The ultras of Rayo Vallecano maintain a close relationship with those of Deportivo, enemies of the Celtarras, also supporters of the left, although this group was officially dissolved years ago.
