The Sepang MotoGP pre-season test has completed the session, Sunday (6/2/2022). Rider Gresini Enea Bastianini is already the fastest.
In the 2022 MotoGP test which took place at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, Bastianini became the fastest after recording a time of 1 minute 58.131 seconds. He was followed by Aprilia rider, Aleix Espargaro, with a distance of 0.026 seconds slower.
Completing the top three positions is Jorge Martin. Successively then Alex Rins and Maverick Vinales occupy the 4-5 position.
Runner-up last season, Francesco Bagnaia finished sixth. While the 2021 MotoGP world champion, is in seventh position with a time of 0.182 seconds slower than Bastianini.
Consecutively in the top 10 positions are Marc Marquez, Johann Zarco, and Pol Espargaro. Meanwhile, Marco Bezzecchi became the best rookie in this session by occupying the 16th position. He recorded a time of 0.579 seconds slower than Bastianini.
On the first day of the Sepang MotoGP test, Saturday (5/2), Aprilia dominated. Aleix Espargaro was the fastest, while Maverick Vinales was runner-up. On the first day, Suzuki rider Alex Rins took third place.
