Last Saturday the 5th, the first day of the Sports Games of Navarra of Judo in Children and Cadet categories took place at the Mendillorri Sports Center in Pamplona. The Shogun judo team participated with a total of nineteen judokas, ten male and nine female. The results highlight the effectiveness of the team that won two gold medals for children’s women’s teams, four silver and six bronze medals.
During the day, the triumph in the Children’s category stood out by achieving first place in the Women’s team with two gold medals from Alba Sagra (-52 kg) from Tudel and Carmen Cornago (-57 kg) from Cirbonne. The good trajectory of this day continued, reaching the second classifications with a silver medal for Lucía Matute (+63 kg), Naroa Fernández (-48 kg) and Allan Kevin Rizo (+66 kg) and Sofía Aznar (-52 kg). kg).

To end the good streak, the Shogun team, Zacarías Khaldon (+66kg), Aitor Montaño (+66kg), Mario Yuste (-60kg), Cascantina Kira Aguado (-44kg) and Cirboneras Amanda got third places. Melgarejo (-63kg), Yasmina Rabhi (-44kg).
Also noteworthy is the good work of Yago Arrondo, Yassin Tlaghi (-50 kg), Israel De los Santos (-60 kg) and Joucef Maizi (-46 kg) who, being their first competition, managed to win a match although they did not qualify.
Also comment on the humble and good work of the cadet team that, still not obtaining a medal, all reached fifth place, Irati Gil (-57 kg), Javier Falcón (-81 kg) and Iker Martínez (-55 kg).
Master Félix Pastor highlighted “the camaraderie, encouragement and help that has prevailed in the competition by the Shogun team” and wanted to “congratulate all the judokas, the club’s delegate and referee team and encourage them to continue working”.
