Ushuaia: The IMD participated in the International Veterans Judo Challenge 2022
The challenge consists of simultaneous training sessions that take place in various parts of the world, and the Municipal Sports School participated in it.
The Challenge allowed the participation of judokas of any age, seeking to generate an event open to all fans of the discipline, but only veterans were counted.
In our city, it was held on the Tatami located in the “Cochocho” Vargas, with the participation of nine representatives of the School.
Ramiro Bravo, vice president of the Municipal Sports Institute (IMD), stressed that “from the Municipality we accompany this event of an international nature, and that historically takes place in the month of February, and that brings together some 5,000 judokas around the world ” .
“For us it is a pride to be part of such an important event, and we will continue to do so because that is the request of Mayor Walter Vuoto, and it is the policy that Guillermo Navarro leads the Institute”, concluded Ramiro Bravo.
