The Spurs also receive a first-round pick this year (he’s protected to an unspecified rank).

The 35-year-old Dragic was acquired in a trade with the Heat involving Kyle Lowry. He only played four games in October and one in mid-November.

Toronto has allowed him to stay away from the team since late November.

The Spurs are expected to pay off his contract.

A six-foot-eight, 235-pound athlete, Young is averaging 6.1 points per game this season.

He had six games of 10 or more points in November.

“The whole league knows what he can do,” Raptors general manager Bobby Webster said of the 33-year-old veteran.

“We paid attention to him over time. He is a high-level professional who will be a great addition to our core.

“He is versatile in defense and he knows how to make the right moves in attack. »

Eubanks, six-foot-nine and 245 pounds, is averaging 4.7 points per game. ESPN reported that Toronto plans to release him.

Victorious in their last seven games, the Raptors visit the Houston Rockets on Thursday night.

Fred VanVleet will be absent, bored in the groin. He and Pascal Siakam lead the Raptors with 21.6 points per game, on average.

Beaten in their last three meetings, the Rockets have the worst record in the West, 15-39.

Rookie Jalen Green is their second scorer.

Green was the second overall pick last year. Two rows later, the Raptors picked Scottie Barnes. Green turned 20 on Wednesday.
