A couple of weeks ago, it was revealed who included this year’s NBA All-Star starters. Among them were owners Ja Morant and Andrew Wiggins. The remaining owners were Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Trae Young, DeMar DeRozan and Stephen Curry,
The reservations were announced shortly thereafter. Fred VanVleet and Darius Garland were the first All-Stars on that list. The rest was the NBA’s who’s who.
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets have been named captains of their respective teams. On Thursday night, James and Durant made their selections for their team live on TNT.
With the first overall pick, LeBron James chose Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks. Durant responded with another great man, Joel Embiid of the Sixers.
lebron james Jersey, James then picked Stephen Curry to add some punch to Team LeBron. Durant responded with a guard, going with Ja Morant. LeBron needed a wing, so he chose DeMar DeRozan. Once again, Durant responded position by position by picking Jayson Tatum.
LeBron’s latest choice among the owners is Nikola Jokic. This left both Trae Young and Andrew Wiggins to fill the starting roster for team Durant as KD is unable to play due to injury.
In the second round, Durant began the All-Star Reserve draft. He filled his roster with Devin Booker, Karl Anthony-Towns, Zach LaVine, Dejounte Murray, Khris Middleton, LaMelo Ball and Rudy Gobert.
