Fixed-term position to be filled as part of a maternity leave replacement from March 1, 2022 to July 13, 2022.
Within the Media & Production Department and under the responsibility of the live production manager, you coordinate the management of the media produced during the Roland-Garros tournament. You ensure the documentary and technical workflows for sharing, filing and archiving on the various content distribution platforms, guaranteeing good practices and rules of use with the various stakeholders in the tournament.
As such, the proposed missions are as follows:
Management of media files in the production chain
• Identify, name and organize files.
• Exploit video, audio and photo file formats
• Ensure and control workflows and systems for interpreting xml data flows (logs)
Management of access and rights of users and customers
• Ensure the access and rights of internal users and customers (ie: official broadcasters and NDD broadcasters) according to their needs and orders (in conjunction with the booking manager)
Content delivery
• Ensure and know how to analyze technical and documentary workflows.
• Define and monitor the implementation of automatic and manual processes for the delivery of content.
• Ensure the availability of content on media download platforms (Media Server EVS and FFT Media archives).
• Realization and communication of conductors to organize and follow content repositories according to established characteristics
• Ensure the proper functioning of the platforms during the event
• Make sure to optimize the quality/speed of availability ratio.
Managing media storage and archiving
• Apply quality check processes to ensure and validate the correct reception of all media to be archived
• Ensuring and enforcing indexing rules.
• Monitor consumption
Communication
• Produce communication media for sharing media management rules, previously detailed to all service providers and internal FFT concerned: “Media Management Guide”
• Establishment of rules, processes and communication media between the various project stakeholders.
• Daily quality check report
User support
• Guide and assist users in the use of workflows and data management systems.
• Provide training and assistance support to client users of media platforms.
Statistics and balance sheet
• Present detailed statistical reports on the uses and performances of the platforms during the event: connections, downloads, consultations, acquisitions, etc.
Skills required :
– Good command of video, audio and photo file formats and media management tools (MAM, PAM)
– Good level of English
– Good knowledge of the office package

Training and experience:
– Holder of a higher education such as a business school or university, ideally specialized in audiovisual production, you justify a similar professional experience (minimum 3-4 years of professional experience) in the conduct of event audiovisual projects, ideally in a sporting and international context.
