This is the case of two fighters from the UFC, the strong MMA federation. On social networks, Jan Blachowicz and Muhammad Mokaev posted messages to propose a fair fight. “If you’re tough, mother fucker (Editor’s note: asshole), try to hit me. What shit. No tolerance for animal cruelty“wrote the 38-year-old Pole.
Mokaev is no less virulent towards the defender: “I would love to smack him so he looks innocent in front of me, like the cat.”
Since the publication of the video, Kurt Zouma is released from all sides. He has already received a big fine from his club. An escalation followed: Adidas decided to break his contract, several complaints were filed (Brigitte Bardot Foundation, Animal Protection Society), his two cats were taken away from him and Didier Deschamps deemed these images “intolerable”.
Via a press release, the player has already reacted: “I am sorry. I apologize to people shocked by the video. Our two cats are doing well and are healthy. They are loved and cherished by our family, this was an isolated incident that will not happen again.”
He also wondered about the proportion of the sanctions that are requested of him: “Do you think what he did is worse than racism? There are people who were condemned and caught for racism and played football afterwards.”
One thing is certain, we are not close to having finished talking about this story which upsets public opinion just like the image of the player who, until then, was considered “sympathetic”.
