Persib Bandung goalkeeper, Teja Paku Alam, in the match against Tira Persikabo, Friday (21/2/2020).
BOLASPORT.COM – Currently, of the four goalkeepers registered by the Persib Bandung Team to Liga 1, only Teja Paku Alam remains.
Ahead of facing PSS Sleman in the 24th week of Liga 1 match on Friday (11/2/2022) at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Persib is still experiencing a goalkeeper crisis.
The crisis occurred after three Persib goalkeepers were confirmed to be infected with Covid-19.
As a solution to this problem, Persib goalkeeper coach Luizinho Passos summoned young goalkeeper Fadri Sidiq from the U-18 team to the first team as a back-up for Teja.
Fadri Sidiq’s name himself was included in the list of players when Persib faced Bhayangkara FC in week 23 of League 1.
Regarding the quality of this young goalkeeper, Luizinho Passos stated that he is a potential talent for the future of Persib Bandung.

However, Passos also underlined that Fadri has not proven himself to appear in the senior team.
Fadri needs more time to prove himself to be able to appear in a team as big as Persib Bandung.
