Florentino Pérez‘s daring proposal to the Haaland clan
As you know, Casa Blanca’s priority is Kylian Mbappé, and Karim Benzema has made it clear that he does not intend to end his story with Real. It therefore seems well blocked on the front of the attack which gives the advantage to FC Barcelona which could win the bet. But Florentino Pérez is not letting go and according to the German press, he would have negotiated the postponement of the release clause of 75 M € to the following year and therefore in 2023. Haaland would therefore remain an additional year in Dortmund to be transferred then at Real Madrid with a view to taking over from a certain Karim Benzema. A proposal that still seems cheeky and not sure that it pleases the French international who is at the top of his career. Case to follow!
The tracks of Barça for the next transfer window!
We are now moving on to FC Barcelona, which is continuing its reconstruction. The Catalans have been very active during the winter transfer window and are now targeting a player capable of competing with Ter Stegen as goalkeeper for the next transfer window. Very nice names are present in this extended list, we can find in particular two great French hopes. The first is called Illan Meslier, a 21-year-old goalkeeper who plays for Leeds. An under-21 international with France, his contract runs until 2026 and his market value is estimated at around 20 million euros. Alban Lafont is also tracked when he had already been approached by the Blaugranas in the summer of 2018. To attract him, Barça will have to pay at least 10 million euros. Promising targets to which we must add Dragowski, the Polish international from Fiorentina, Yassine Bounou, the 30-year-old Sevilla goalkeeper or even Vandevoordt from Genk and under-21 international with Belgium. Barcelona will therefore have the choice to compete with their titular goalkeeper Ter Stegen!
But that’s not all since Barça is also interested in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié. According to information from Marca, the Blaugranas would be in pole position to secure the services of the player. Under contract with AC Milan until next June, he could well leave Lombardy, where he has already refused an extension offer from management.
The future stadium in Sadio Mané’s hometown will bear his name
The mayor of the city of Sédhiou spoke about this: “Sadio Mané honored Senegal and the region of Sédhiou. I would like, through this decision to give the name of Sadio Mané to the Stade de Sédhiou, to express the recognition of all […] towards a man who makes known to all humanity, Sédhiou. Sadio Mané amply deserves this gift”. A very nice tribute for the Liverpool player, often considered the best Senegalese footballer in history.
