Only with the presence of the athletes and authorities was the Flag Ceremony of the representative teams of the capital held for their participation in the state phase of the CONADE 2022 National Games, which begins this weekend.
In total there were 613 competitors who were selected by San Luis Potosí and will contain in the 19 disciplines: athletics, badminton, boxing, handball, judo, basketball, indoor volleyball, baseball, beach volleyball, chess, karate, soccer, softball, associated wrestling, table tennis, triathlon, charrería, archery and triathlon.
After a selective stage, the teams and athletes who will seek their pass to the National phase to be held in the month of May and June were formed.
Representing the delegation of the municipality of San Luis Potosí, goalkeeper Rodrigo Olvera Méndez, world team champion, assured that in the face of the state phase of the CONADE 2022 National Games, it is intended that the athletes from the capital make up the majority to the representative of the state in the national phase.
The event, which was held at the “Garita de Jalisco” Sports Center, formerly called “Jacobo Payán Latuff”, concluded with the delivery of the flag with the coat of arms of San Luis Potosí to the athlete Nuria Paloma Vásquez Aspiros, who received with pride and gratitude the distinction.
