Let’s remember that for this Wednesday, February 16, pitchers and catchers must report to spring training according to the already established schedule. However, this presence is questioned due to the negotiation process.
The preseason games are expected to start on February 26 and the start of the season on March 31.
Currently the MLB is in the process of negotiating with the Players Union and they have not yet reached a deal, among the proposals they demand are: minimum salary, pre-arbitration bonus, manipulation of service time, continuity in the roster and physical examination prior to the draft.
