Golfer Sam Ryder caused mass hysteria at the Phoenix Open on Saturday afternoon.
The American thrilled the crowd with a PGA Tour”>hole-in-one on the 16th, a par-3 for 124 yards surrounded by 25,000 people. The green was invaded by empty beer cans and thousands of wild spectators celebrated the feat. To see here:
This scene will forever be etched in the memory of Ryder, who thus scored his very first hole in one in the PGA. He nevertheless rests in 29th place.
