Chelsea came out as the champion Club World Cup after beating palm trees in the final round. The Blues are newcomers to the list of Club World Cup winners.
The top party for the 2021 Club World Cup presents the Chelsea vs Palmeiras duel at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, Saturday (12/2/2022) night WIB until it is completed Sunday (13/2) early morning WIB.
It took extra time to finish this match. The Blues took the lead through Romelu Lukaku’s goal in the 55th minute but Palmeiras could equalize through Raphael Veiga’s penalty in the 64th minute.
The 1-1 score lasted until the second half ended, forcing the duel to go into extra time. In extra time, Chelsea’s victory was determined by the execution of a Kai Havertz penalty in the 117th minute.
Chelsea finally came out as champions of the Club World Cup with a 2-1 victory over Palmeiras. This is Chelsea’s first title at the Club World Cup stage.
The London club is also continuing its European dominance in the event, which has been going on for the past decade.
