In doing so, he was very grateful to many people and especially pointed out two exceptional protagonists such as Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi, whom he interviewed many times during this time. Arévalo had begun his journalistic career in the Ole newspaper.
As confirmed to this newspaper from the Disney chain, Arévalo will join ESPN‘s programming.
the goodbye letter
“I wanted to tell you that in recent days I left TyC Sports. After several months of considering my departure, I decided to quit my job. I feel that it was no longer the place where I could fulfill my dreams. The smallest dreams and the Those that had to do with daily work, with professional growth and even those dreams related to happiness itself.
“During these 16 years of work, the vast majority were very satisfying. I started back in 2006, as a guest producer for Jamón del Medio and as a journalist for Estudio Fútbol, a program that later became the channel’s emblem. Today, So much time later, I can say that I fulfilled a lot of goals that I had set for myself when I was studying journalism back in 2000.
I covered World Cups, Copa America, Libertadores finals, tournaments, friendlies in the most exotic places… I interviewed many times those who everyone is dying to interview… Thanks to my work I gave myself a lot of pleasures that filled my soul, how to be together to the Argentine National Team in any corner of the planet for more than 10 years.
“I remember that the first guest was Diego. Yes, Maradona. He came to the floor of the first Jamón del Medio program, the program hosted by Miguel Ángel Rodríguez. Wherever you are, Armando, thank you for having been with me so much throughout my career. Since that beginning, to everything that would come later throughout my entire stay on the channel.
“I also take this opportunity to thank @leomessi because he also blessed my career. He was always there when I needed him. Diego and Leo gave me one of the most incredible notes of my career: it was in 2007, in Rosario. We managed to meet them for a noon, and We went live chatting with both of them… I want to take advantage of these lines to thank you.
“A big love to all. See you soon.”
