Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea at the start of the 2021-2022 season was indeed filled with ups and downs.
In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports Italia some time ago, Romelu Lukaku implied he was not comfortable at Stamford Bridge.
Because, Romelu Lukaku thinks that the Blues coach, Thomas Tuchel, did not play him in an ideal position.
This made Romelu Lukaku annoyed and said he wanted to return to his old club, Inter Milan.

“I think Thomas Tuchel plays a different formation, but I have to accept it and be professional,” Lukaku said at the time.
“Now is the time for me to express my feelings. I said before that I always think about Inter Milan.”
“I knew I would return to Inter Milan. I really hope so,” he continued.
